We’re Here For You
Becoming a parent brings many questions, especially when you are already navigating a difficult season. Faith Maternity Care believes that when you have the right knowledge and the right support, you are fully capable of being the parent your child needs.
Our parenting support program is designed to build that foundation, practically and personally.
Both residential and non-residential clients participate in weekly individual and group learning sessions. You will set goals, work through real-life topics, and receive consistent case management to help you make progress at your own pace.
Education Topics
Our classes cover a wide range of subjects relevant to pregnancy, parenting, and daily life, including:
- Prenatal and postnatal care
- Parenting skills and child development
- Health and nutrition
- Budgeting and money management
- Healthy relationships and the cycle of violence
- Household management
- Life skills for self-sufficiency
- Adoption education
- Bible study.
Classes are offered in group and individual settings, depending on your needs and schedule.
The Baby Boutique
For every class you complete, you earn Baby Bucks to use in our Baby Boutique. We know how quickly the costs of caring for a baby add up, and this is one of the ways we help lighten that load.
Available items include diapers, wipes, baby food, clothing, baby gear, and furniture. Items rotate based on availability, and everything is provided at no cost to you.
Counseling
Pregnancy and early parenting can bring up a lot emotionally. Our team provides access to counseling services to help you process what you are going through, work through past experiences, and focus on the goals ahead.
Having someone you trust to talk to makes a genuine difference, and we want every woman in our program to have that.
Fathers Are Welcome
The baby’s father is encouraged to be involved. When the father of your baby completes our parenting classes and passes a background check, he is eligible to visit.
We can also refer fathers to a local fatherhood program for additional support.
