Our Mission

To serve, assist and equip expecting mothers who are considering parenting their babies or making an adoption plan for them. To connect mothers with resources, education and support, which will promote options and success as they transition to independent living.

Our Desire

To provide the necessary life skills to empower mothers to succeed and become self-sufficient whether they parent or place for adoption. We encourage them to discover or renew a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Who We Are

Faith Maternity Care is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization supported by the donations of individuals, churches, and community organizations. We began in July of 2002 when our founder saw many women in unplanned pregnancies with no support.

In 2008, a larger home was purchased to serve as the permanent residence. We now serve up to five women at a time and their infants in the home. We work to help mothers with older children in state custody to reunify with them.

Our program includes both an in home and non-residential services program. Expecting mothers who have a safe place to live can obtain the same services we offer to residential clients, including our intensive case management services, virtual parenting classes, the opportunity to earn Baby Bucks to spend in our Boutique, and financial assistance.

The Maternity Home

Faith Maternity Care is staffed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. We make sure our residents have support at all times. Up to 5 women can be housed, and each one has her own room. Residents are welcome to stay at Faith Maternity Care, free of charge, for the duration of their pregnancies.

Women are eligible to stay for some time after their babies are born, as well. If they choose to parent and eligibility requirements are maintained, mothers can continue receiving services through their child’s first birthday.

While living at Faith Maternity Care, residents set goals and receive intensive case management to assist them in working toward achieving these goals. Residents also participate in weekly individual and group learning, focusing on pre-natal/post-natal care, healthy relationships, life skills, and an array of other topics.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in residential services, please contact the Operations Director at our office 573-642-7414. We can be reached after hours at 573-220-2458. We’d love to support and empower YOU!
