Who We Are

Kingdom Ministries' Faith Maternity Care of Mid-Missouri is a not for profit, 501 c3 tax exempt, faith based ministry that provides housing and other assistance according to God's word to young mothers who choose life for their baby.  We are classified by the State of Missouri as a maternity home.

We are financially supported by donations from individuals, churches, and organizations.  We rely completely on our Lord and Savior, through the gifts and donations of His people, to meet the needs of the residents and the ministry of Faith Maternity Care of Mid-Missouri.

Our desire is to provide the necessary skills to help these young mothers succeed as they parent their child and introduce them to a relationship with Christ.  We strive to reach, educate, train and empower these young mothers to become productive, self-sufficient individuals intellectually, economically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Faith Maternity Care ministry began in July 2002 by founders Alan and Neena Lord.  While serving as director of the local crisis pregnancy center in Fulton, Neena saw many young women in unplanned pregnancies with no place to turn.  The need to provide a Christian home environment for these young women as a means to battle the perceived need for abortion became evident at the Holy Spirit's prompting.  A home was initially purchased by Alan and Neena to fulfill this purpose, and God's people responded in support.  We have served over 200 women, and 250 infants and children as residents in these past 16 years; with the average stay in the home for each resident being between four and nine months.  In September 2008, the ministry purchased a larger home to serve as the permanent residence of the ministry.  We can now service up to five women and their infants in the home.  The ministry is growing and God continues to provide for the resident's needs through His people.  We are blessed with dedicated staff, and board members who love and serve the Lord, the ministry, and the residents.
