Residential Services

The Residential Experience

Faith Maternity Care is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, ensuring residents have support at all times. Faith Maternity Care can house up to 5 women. Each resident has their own, individual room. Our home also features a "mother's suite", which can accommodate a mother with up to 2 children under the age of 10, and her unborn child. Residents are welcome to stay at Faith Maternity Care, free of charge, for the duration of their pregnancy and until their child's first birthday.

While living at Faith Maternity Care, residents set pregnancy goals and receive intensive case management to assist them in working toward achieving these goals. Residents also participate in weekly individual and group learning, focusing on pre-natal/post-natal care, healthy relationships, and an array of other topics. Faith Maternity Care also maintains a fully functioning "Baby Boutique" which assists mothers in preparing for their unborn child's material needs; as well as meeting the material needs of the child after birth. For each class a resident participates in, they receive $3 in 'Baby Bucks" to use for purchase of items in the baby boutique. Pregnancy can be a difficult time for some both phyisically and emotionally; all residents have access to faith-based counseling, chiropractic care, full doula services (as requested), and a prenatal photography session...all free of charge! Residents also attend church weekly, on Sundays, and participate in community leisure activities.

Criteria for Residency

To qualify for residential services, the following criteria must be met:
